Derrick, Let's Bring Your Maui Vision to Life.

A Personalized Collection of Maui Properties & Opportunities.

Finding the right Maui property is about more than location and square footage. It's about discovering the space, flexibility, and possibilities to bring your vision together. We've put together a personalized collection of opportunities that may offer the land, existing homes, and future potential you're looking for.

Your Vision · Our Starting Point

Two Homes. One Extraordinary Maui Vision.

Derrick, we're approaching your search with a specific vision in mind: finding a property where two distinct residences can come together around a beautiful Maui setting.

Whether that means purchasing an existing multi-residence property, renovating a home with additional potential, or evaluating land for future construction, we're looking beyond what a property offers today to understand what may be possible.

01

Space to Build Your Vision

Ideally one to two acres of practical, usable land — enough room for two homes and the outdoor life you're envisioning.

02

Two Distinct Residences

The goal is two separate homes — each, ideally, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms — on a single property.

03

Island Lifestyle

Mountain or ocean views, natural surroundings, and inviting outdoor spaces that make the most of being on Maui.

04

Flexibility & Potential

We're open to existing homes, renovations, and development opportunities — wherever the right fit may legally be possible.

A Personal Note

A Thoughtful Approach to Your Search.

Derrick,

As we've explored properties around Maui, we've been keeping your overall vision at the center of our search.

Rather than limiting the possibilities to vacant land, we're also considering properties with existing homes, fixer-uppers, and opportunities where an additional residence may be possible. Some properties may offer more acreage, while others may provide existing improvements that could make the overall project simpler.

Our goal is to help you understand the opportunities, the tradeoffs, and the important details that need to be verified before making a decision. We're looking forward to helping you explore what Maui has to offer.

Existing Improvements

One existing 3BR / 2BA residence in need of repair; additional acreage to evaluate.

Why We Selected It

Considered for its generous acreage and an existing residence that could be renovated, with land to study for an additional dwelling.

Important Limitations

Exceeds your preferred 1–2 acre range. Whether a second full-size residence is legally permitted here must be independently verified — a large parcel does not automatically qualify.

Existing Improvements

Existing 2BR / 2BA cottage with additional improvements on a CPR parcel.

Why We Selected It

Considered for acreage within range and an existing cottage that offers a starting point — worth evaluating alongside your goals.

Important Limitations

Does not currently offer two three-bedroom residences. The CPR designation does not by itself authorize construction of another full-size home — recorded covenants and county rules must be verified.

Existing Improvements

A primary residence and a separate cottage — two existing structures on one lot.

Why We Selected It

Considered for the advantage of two existing structures already in place, which may reduce the complexity of creating the layout you're after.

Important Limitations

The lot is smaller than ideal, and the bedroom counts of each structure must be confirmed — there may be limitations relative to your two three-bedroom goal.

See the Potential

Look Beyond What Exists Today.

Three paths toward your vision — each with its own benefits and considerations. These are possibilities to investigate, not guarantees.

  • +Reduced development complexity
  • +Current living spaces can be evaluated in person

How They Align

The two Haiku listings each offer acreage within or near your range and an existing structure as a starting point; the Makawao / Pukalani listing's strength is having two structures already in place. None should be treated as confirmed for two full-size residences until entitlements are verified — and the closest match depends on which tradeoff (acreage vs. existing dwellings) matters most to you.

Your Questions, Answered

Considerations for Your Project.

It depends. Zoning, parcel configuration, applicable land-use rules, recorded restrictions, permitting, infrastructure, and other property-specific factors all matter. A large parcel does not automatically qualify for two independent homes — the legal feasibility has to be verified for each property.

Neither is automatically better. Land offers design flexibility but brings entitlements, infrastructure, and construction costs. An existing home can save time and offer a starting point, but comes with renovation expense, building condition, and the need to confirm what additional development is allowed. We'll weigh flexibility, timing, cost, complexity, and approvals for each option.

Condominium Property Regimes and accessory or ʻohana structures can involve different ownership and legal-use arrangements. A CPR designation or an existing cottage does not automatically mean two separate full-size houses are legally permitted. We'll review the recorded documents and applicable county rules, and recommend confirming them with the appropriate professionals.

We'd evaluate usable land, grading, setbacks, utilities, pool feasibility, landscaping, access, and construction requirements. Conceptual lifestyle imagery on these pages is inspiration only — it is not an approved property development plan.

Permits, legal dwelling rights, surveys, utilities, wastewater systems, financing, building condition, insurance, and any other property-specific due-diligence concerns. We'll help coordinate the right professionals for each item.
